A little research question for Bloggers

I'm doing some rationalisation. I've got too many blogs. I hate to tell you how many. I blog for fun and money - and I am acutely aware of those blogs that create income for me, and those that don't.

My best income producers by far are my Blogger sites. I have several and I find often that the cents/hits appear even if I have not posted in the previous few days, so I don't need to "work" every day for results.

BlogFeast was a good earner - but it has gone. Communati is a great site - but I've never earned a cent from there.

Anyone prepared to share their "success" stories?

Can get channels for...

Hutts,

you can put up to 200 channels in Adsense.

Communati is a fairly new site...

so that is probably why we are not earning much there. I really miss Blogfeast, which is not dead as such, but just has an expired domain name( yes, really?). If BF had the enthusiasm and expertise of Communati's admin, it would still be going.

I agree with you Hutts,

I like Communati, but I've not had one click there, so choose to work more where I can get a few clicks.

Thanks folks, for your in[ut on this

First of all,Jeanne,to find out where your clicks are coming from you need to set up Channels in Adsense. You list all the blogsite URL's and then when someone clicks on one you can tell. You certainly need an Adsense code to get any income at all. The last few days I've had quite a few high paying clicks on my Blogger sites. Weird. Anyway I keep trying.

Thanks Elly. I will check out the channels thing let you know

how it works. It may take a month to have any results to report, because that is about how long it takes me to get a click. :) Maybe, if I can actually see where they are coming from, it will encourage me to work a bit harder on those particular sites.

I did register my blog urls. Now I just need to get moving and

write something. Thanks again, Elly, for the help.

Go write, Jeannie girl,

and fire up the Adsense. Do you do blogger at all?

consistent

No success stories just sparadic income here and there. I actually wish my monetizing could be consistent even if it was minimal. Consistency is what I want to figure out!

it comes and goes. I have a few larger strikes and then nothing. A whole 14 cents today.

Tried and still trying...

I don't know what to do to earn from websites and blogs. I have not earned as yet. I hope to learn and of course earn too. I have tried and am still keeping on trying.

I haven't figured out how to tell where my cents are coming from

Elly. I have several rather dormant blogs that I read now and then, but haven't written for in ages, and two that I contribute to when the spirit moves me. Sometimes a couple of weeks go by without me writing, and then, suddenly, I get a click from somewhere. Not that I ever expect to get enough from Adsense to collect a check, but it is kind of fun watching it grow little by little.

I wish I had a success story

I wish I had a success story to share Elly but I don't...I guess I'll just keep writting...
