New Zealand iPhone

Recent posts have opened my mind to the vast array of uses for the Apple iPhone. In addition, the global enthusiasm for my post shocked me. At first taken aback, I have now gathered my wits and know what I must do. I will celebrate the global significance of my post by providing three links on the topic of IPhones in New Zealand.

The Whitey Tape

A few weeks ago there was talk of a tape recording of Michelle Obama speaking at Trinity Church in Chicago (Rev. Wright). The tape was significant because she used the expression "whitey" to refer to those of lighter skin color. Thus far the tape has not surfaced. Someone may be saving it for a more opportune time.

Cell Phone Addiction

Elly posted about the intensity with which her Chinese students live for their cell phones. Not more than an hour after I read the post, I came across this article from England. It talks of some young people who became addicted to their phones - even to the extent normal life situations were difficult to handle. Others have seen that the same phenomena happen with video games and computers (surfing the net).

James has grown 1.5 centimeters and put on a kilo in a month this year. Doctors say the tumor, which sits near his hormone - secreting pituitary gland, is playing havoc with his hormones and causing his unusual growth pattern.
