Political candidates have opponents. Every political candidate expects to face opposition as they try to win over the voters. So, of course, it is no surprise that John McCain's pick for vice president, Gov. Sarah Palin, would also meet up with her opponents Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

Obama's team is shaking in their boots. They know that Sarah Palin is connecting with American voters (except for those voting skin color) in a way that Obama and Biden can only fantasize about. Being jumpy and skittish after the Wednesday night speech, they needed to do immediate damage control.

You know those fly-away styrofoam peanuts you get in packing boxes? They can be recycled and reused.

I was visiting a local mail shop and noted the cost of huge bags of styrofoam peanuts sitting on the floor.

I commented about how much the owner had paid for the bags. Then I asked if she would consider using pre-used ones. She said she would, and now I know where I will take any packing materials that come to me. It makes a lot of sense for the environment, and it helps out small businesses.

I recently wrote a post explaining how my Google Adsense account was disabled. I have emailed Google on a number of occasions without reply.

I believe that I am entitled to a reply to my enquiry, if not the actual details of the reason for the disablement of my account.Google have a monopoly in website advertising and have acted like a bully in this instance.
