Unlike Obama, I Don't Like Change All That Much.

Okay, maybe that title is a little misleading, but I like BlogEvolve the way it is. (With the exception of the increase in Sploggers, that is.) To many of us, BlogEvolve members have become online family.

Is New Zealand Ready For King Charles and Queen Camilla?

Today, I heard a reference to Queen Elizabeth II of Canada, and it reminded me of how many countries the Queen is considered to be the monarch of, but where mention of her is seldom heard. In the United States, we very seldom ever connect her with anywhere but Scotland, England, and occasionally, Canada.

The Christmas Card Race Has Begun!

Yesterday, my e-mail included my first Christmas card of the season. Did it somehow awaken the spirit of Christmas in my life? Unfortunately, no. Did it cheer me to know that someone was thinking of me? Not really, because I doubt that a lot of thinking was behind the sending of the card. Did it even spur me to drag out my Christmas list and start addressing a few cards of my own? NO, NO, and NO.

The Thirty Day Challenge Is Not A Scam - The Course Is Free!

Hutt wondered if The Thirty Day Challenge might turn out to be a scam. I assure you it is not. I have taken the course twice now and have never paid them a cent.

I honestly believe that if someone is willing to work hard using the free advice they give about earning money online, one could become very successful.

There once was an old lady named Jeanne,
Who turned into a bit of a meanie,
When she found herself often performing the chores

Is Your Teen Suffering From Affluenza?

My husband and I recently ran across this video on u-tube that contrasts the lives of some Australian teens with kids in third-world countries. I couldn't resist sending the link to my granddaughter, who somewhat resembles the girl in the video. Do you think most teens in America suffer from affluenza?

Would Our Government Stoop To Bribery?

The government calls it sweetening the deal--I call it bribery!

A few years ago, a large section of the State of Oregon depended on the logging industry, not only for daily wages, but for taxes to support schools, law enforcement, etc.
