Eating cloned animals

If the Food and Drug Administration has it their way we will be eating cloned Cattle soon in the United States. According to the FDA, “Extensive evaluation of the available data has not identified any subtle hazards that might indicate food-consumption risks in healthy clones of cattle, swine, or goats,".

If your like me you find the idea of cloning animals a little creepy. Genetic engineers have been cloning animals for several years now. What was once science fiction is now reality.

I’m not a scientist and all I know about cloning is what I’ve read in the papers, but this does not sound like a good idea to me. Maybe I’m just paranoid what do you think?

I think the less we eat of

food that has been "interfered" with by "man" the better. Natural is best. Though I can see the need for producing food stuffs that have been "enhanced" by scientists to provide better quality and more product.
