Employees Are Going To Shoot Themselves In The Foot

There are rumors about that employees in Australia think that they are entitled to extra annual leave. They may want extra, but to be entitled to it. Do they really want to give companies more excuses to move over seas. I don't know what you guys think, but I think they are crazy.

and fairly typical of folk associated with unions that have never run a small business. As it turns out the Fed Government has made provision for workers to "cash in" some of their annual leave - because many do not want to take 4 weeks leave at a time.

I think workers in many countries would be astounded to think Aussie workers get so much PAID annual leave, and paid for Public Holidays, and get so much maternity and family leave. No wonder we find it hard to compete against countries with low wages and few if any of the conditons that Aussie workers get.
