Getting more readers to your Blog

Blogs need readers. Well, those of us who want to make a few dollars (or more than a few dollars!) with our blogs need to find ways of increasing our readership. The more readers the more likely it is that someone will find something interesting on your blog, and click on an ad.

I wrote a little about it in this blog entry. I mentioned the use of keywords,and how easy it is at BlogEvolve to enhance your blog with bold, and links.

It is too easy to put a few lines together and hit the Submit button, without taking a few seconds to put the occasional bold words in, a link or two (especially to one of your other blogs), and then highlight your keywords. As well as bolding your keywords, make sure you have them typed into the Tags above the body of your post.

Now, since I have being doing this "religiously" in the past couple of weeks my Adsense earnings have dramatically increased. It takes only a minute or two extra, and once you get in the habit of doing it, it is easy.
