Great Scott - Kiwi Dixon wins Indy...

Great Scott! Kiwi driver Scott Dixon wins Indy 500 car in US. He was the third New Zealand driver ever to participate in the premier car racing event at the "brickyard" and the first to win it. He was never further back than fourth in the race. He banks a cool $3 million for winning the race.

It was the biggest success by a Kiwi driver since Denny Hulme won the World Formula One title a few decades ago.

He drew the pole position after being the fastest qualifier for one of the world's most famous races.
