Here is a joke President Ronald Reagan said

On the 11th of August 1984 President Ronald Reagan, during what he thought was an off-the-record voice level test for a radio appearance said, “My fellow Americans I signed legislation which outlaws Russia forever. The bombing begins in five minutes.” This statement was meant as a joke by President Ronald Reagan and was in no way true. However the statement was definitely on the record and left a lot of people wondering what Ronald Reagan was thinking….
