I went and saw Mack the knife on Tuesday...

I went and saw Mack the knife on Tuesday NZ time. Out of action for a day; recovering well.

My arthroscopy or keyhole surgery was successful.

My cartilage is ok, just cleaned up the calcium build up on my knee.

Walking with the aid of a cane at present. Rehab won't take long I'm picking.

Cheers friends.

PS: 'Nine days later and checked out by surgeon - doing great. Just three holes around my knee - dissolved stitches.

A couple of days not overdoing it....

a little bit of walking. I used a cane/ walking stick to lean on and take the weight off my knee.Went back and saw the surgeon last Tuesday, nine days after the op. Just three little holes around my knee. Compared to the open op 25 years ago - no comparison at all. Just cut open and weeks of healing and rehab. On crutches for weeks. Both knees at once will be a challenge, though.
