Time magazine (liberal and democrat) has released their latest issue and it is causing some stir among those who care.

The green border is unique for Time, but not offensive. In the middle, they have modified the picture of a very well known war scene and monument - the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.

The offense comes at two levels:

First, anyone who attempts to equate the reality of World War II with the 'fantasy war' on global warming shows they know nothing. It is an insult against the veterans and the military.

Secondly, replacing the American Flag with a tree is a slam against the United States of America. Honesty requires me to mention that this approach is not surprising. Books could be written (and probably have) to document the numerous times that liberal democrats have made it clear that the environmental agenda (which has nothing to do with saving the planet) is far, far, far more important than any American flag or the patriotism it represents.

I hope Americans care enough to kick Time in the butt!
