I climb to the top of the mountain
I watch as the sun rises
I pray to the gods in silence
Pray that harm doesn't find you

I watch from the highest peak
The clouds in the sky turn gray
They roll and with them I collide
The sunlight breaches their darkness

I listen to the sounds of life
It echoes through my head
Screams and laughter reach me
Over and over I hear them calling

I watch your day unfold before us
I sacrifice my blood for you to live
Our blood unites to become one
We become one living being

But one must die so the other lives
I don't have to ponder the question
I hold the knife as high as arm's reach
I bring it down quickly and happily
I die for you
