Man dies after 3 day internet binge

Apparently a 30 year old man in China has died of exhaustion brought on by a 3 day gaming binge at an internet café in the city of Guangzhou. At least that is what the Beijing News reported.

My guess is this young man had a underlining medical condition that killed him not related to his internet use. I do know that the Chinese government has been actively suppressing the Chinese peoples access to the internet. So I would not be surprised if this mans death is used as propaganda by the Chinese government against internet use.

Its more on health rather than on propaganda

I believe the news is more on the health of the hardcore online gamer rather being used as a propaganda material by the Chinese Government. Similar cases also happened before in South Korea and Japan where these hardcore gamers were stucks in front of the screen for days and eventually died. This is really hardcore addiction that killed them.

and I would no be surprised to learn if the story was propoganda. I think though as a nation they are trying to make some positive changes.

In China 9 year old children

In China 9 year old children are making most the clothes we Americans buy at Wal-mart.

At least in China the people their have an excuse not to think...because it's not allowed....In America we have the freedom too think but chose not too..

not made in China. Sad but true due to the low cost of labour, and the lower end cost to us that we contiue to buy them. I try NOT to buy things made in China, but the reality is that I cannot always afford to pay the other high prices.
