Meet Obama / Biden

Obama's team is shaking in their boots. They know that Sarah Palin is connecting with American voters (except for those voting skin color) in a way that Obama and Biden can only fantasize about. Being jumpy and skittish after the Wednesday night speech, they needed to do immediate damage control.

The first step was to send out another fund-raising letter which carried with it an explanation of what a community organizer is. Most people only know that it as an important piece of Obama's resume. Have you ever met a community organizer (other than Al Sharpton)? If you wanted to be a community organizer, do you know where to go and sign up? The letter states that Obama spent three years helping people who had lost their jobs in industry. There is no talk of what he did to help these people, or any evidence of anyone being helped, but we know he worked at it three years. Who paid his salary during those three years?

The next piece of forward looking strategy was to have Joe Biden tell the American people that if Obama and Biden are elected they will pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration. Let's see, how can we describe this policy?

hope
change
forward-thinking
unifying
serving our country
best for our country
Bush-hating

It's just hard to know! When Bill Clinton was found guilty and being sized for a prison jump suit the democrats said not to worry about any laws or ethical standards.

Obama and Biden, both liberals to the core, show their true colors, especially when the new kid throws them a solid punch.

I'm not an American...

but lets wait another week before getting too emotional about Palin's effect on the Republicans. She may overshadow McCaine. There has been a new and unexpected opinion poll in NZ which shows the two major parties moving closer together. So remember the old adage about a week in politics.

I certainly understand

that everything is 'up in the air' with respect to the U.S. race, and that is without any October surprises. On the other hand, the change Sarah Palin has brought to the Republican party pretty much dwarfs any concept of hope and change that Obama has entertained.
