Michigan is a fat state. Last year we ranked 6 in the Nation for obesity. In Fact 25.3 percent of Michigan residence are obese. Childhood obesity is also high. Obesity is real problem up here in the Great Lakes State.

It doesn’t help that most people spend little time outdoors 5 months of the year. Not too mention diets high in fast-food. Children are spending hours on end playing video games. While their parents are eating TV dinners and arguing about the next American Idol.
