My new World of Conservation and Ecology blog is born into the Kiwi Riverman stable. It has already been given a good little workout.
Why don't you come for a visit some time, and make a comment or two?
I have posted already about a number of species, in and out of the water.

Won't the government...
disapprove of your comments here, Elly?

Maybe
but I try to write respecting my hosts - while commenting on the truth. We in the west can be critical of communism, and this style of government but the people are very happy and many don't want change. It is not up to me to be wanting change either. It may come in it's own good time. Chinese are very kind and incredibly industrious, but like the west have challenges. A large population to feed, find employment, and provide resources is a challenge. It is different to see it from the inside. I'm impressed.

That is real censorship...
what can you go to?

It is a feature of
communism. In any case, the people are happy. Who are we to say they are wrong. Sure, I don't support censorship - but I am a guest in their country and will respect their culture.

Sadly I cannot see any
blogspot sites from this country. Not even my own!

That seems strange that
blogspot sites don't work. Do you know what the issue is?

Yes, the issue is
quite clearly censorship by the government. Fact.

I think I read
of some squabble between Google and Chinese authorities, so maybe that is why blogspot sites were chosen to ban. I had never thought of that.
Other than that reasoning, if you were going to block blogspot for content, you would have to block the entire internet.

I read
that Google and the Chinese government have an arrangement so that Google can do business in China.
