Market Your Blog
Hello everyone and welcome to BLogEvolve.com!
Whenever I visit different sites on the internet that I find interesting or that I enjoy, I always wonder who the webmaster is and what he or she is like. I also believe that giving people a little background on myself will help them trust me and my site. So, I decided to write this little article to introduce myself.
My name is Scott Brown and I have been in the internet content and information publishing business for about 4 years now. I first started as an affiliate marketer, creating information type websites on finance. I made money by refering people to sign up for credit cards and other credit related products. I was successful at this but it had it's limitations.
About a year and half ago (from today January 2006) I discovered along with many webmasters, Google's Adsense Program! Since then Adsense has become my focus almost entirely. I have created around 40 websites since. I found that there is really no limitations to making money with Adsense!
Among the sites I have created is ArticleWise.com which was the first Adsense revenue sharing site. It continues to be successful and is growing everyday.
ArticleWise.com is a great site with some very good articles on just about anything you can think of, but it lacks in the community and excitement area.
That is why I created BlogEvolve.com. On BlogEvolve.com anyone can join and anyone can contribute. Every person that joins will be able to share in the revenues of the site and quite possibly make enough money to where they can quit their current job and do something they love to do!
Being the leader of this site I hope to not only spread the wealth, but to also share all of my Adsense secrets with you! Everyone that joins this site will be able to make as much as me. I consider each person an equal partner of BlogEvolve.com!

A suggest and a questiion....
I thought if there were a section on the homepage that constantly scrolled recently viewed blogs, it would help make up for the constant pushing of brand new blogs off the recently submitted blogs list, in addition, if there were a list of the most popular blogs updated, say, weekly on the home page, blogs that may have been written some time ago may get some additional attention and more readership. Also, what happened to the forum topic section?
Thanks
Are We Still the "Home Of The Brave?"
ATTENTION ADMIN
This looks like splog, smells like splog. Is it splog and are you allowing this sort of thing on BlogEvolve? I am wondering if you will manually delete this run of pure advertisement by ma1k0va74.

I visited
The main difference is that ArticleWise.com accepts only articles. The articles have to meet certain requirements to be accepted.
BlogEvolve is a blogging site where you get your own blog. You can then write what ever you want. There are different features in place to make commenting and discussion the forefront.

If Blogevolve survives the assault of harvinder1 for even a few
more days, I will certainly be surprised. Administration, if you care about this blogsite at all, please do something, or give us the power to flag. Thanks.
Jeanne, perhaps a message to Admin
via the Contact page on Admin's blog profile will help. I have sent a message to him, and I am usually able to make contact this way. The best way to combat this person is to post more quality posts, refuse to read/comment on harvinder1 and generally ignore him/her.

Another Blog
Thanks Elly, I'll try that.
I like Blogevolve and would hate to see it go down, especially over one person's actions.
Thank you!
I got it.Maybe I'd like to stay in BlogEvolve.

If you need me...
I am here for you. I have a lot of experience with web marketing and adsense. I want to help anyone that joins BlogEvolve.com.
If you are motivated you can make a lot of money with Adsense! I have made enough to quit my job and do this full time, but even part timers can make a monthly check.
I don't want to make it sound too easy. It does take some time and dedication. The very best thing to do is to learn from others who have already been in your shoes. You can learn from their mistakes.

Well, I'm pleased
I've been here, what? Two days, I think, and with only 3 blog entries I've already had nearly as many ad impressions as I had in the 2 weeks (and 15 or so blog entries) that I wrote for your main competitor.
And now I just look like an idiot.
I'm so sorry. I didn't realize I wasn't logged in. (Actually I didn't even realize I could post without logging in.)
But I take full responsibility for the above glowing review. :-)
My Blog "Stealing the Algorithm"
When I typed 'Stealing the Algorithm' into the Google search box, my blog on blogevolve.com was listed near the top; however, the same post on my blog on writingup.com was no where in Google's listings. It is very interesting that this low volume site's record of my blog post somehow got the googlebot's attention while the high volume site writingup.com did not. That Google search algorithm can never be totally figured out by anyone. Anyways, it is a good sign for blogevolve.com. Even though I am the only user usually when I visit this site, I am thinking of promoting this site.
Good Sir Williger
The posts on writing up are pushed down off the home page so quickly that the Google bot doesn't have enough time to index them all. The Google bot would have to be there 24/7 to index every post fully.
It could take weeks before the bot even gets to your post to index it. It has a sea of content to go through.
We are developing strategies at BlogEvolve.com to counter act this.
People don't understand sometimes that they need to get inbound links to there blogs to get the Google bot and others to index their blog. The more inbound links you have pointing to your blog the quicker and more thoroughly the Google bot will index your blog or website.
If you think about it logically - Would it be easier for Google to index your blog by starting at your blogging communities home page (writing up's home page) and then eventually getting to your blog, or would it be better to start directly at your blog? Links are what the Google bot follows to get to your blog so get some links from other sites pointing to your blog and get found!

It all sounds interesting.
I've been busy on other blogsites but a little disappointed about the revenue. I know one needs to create a following - and find this a little hard to do despite my hard work. Oh, well, a new site, a new alias - I'll try.
Elly.
You may try doing things to bring people...
To really benefit from sites like this one you need to do some good old fashioned SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Then when you get done you need to do some more SEO! See where I am going with this.
Have you tried any linking strategies with your blogs?
There is a myth that goes around the internet "content is king".
Meaning that the content of a website is the most important thing to top search engine rankings.
Actually I believe that content should actually be said differently: "Content is king, on-site optimization is queen, and inbound links to your site are the kingdom!"
Content can create a lot of "buzz" which will sometimes result in people linking to your site. The problem is that not everyone has the skills to write so creatively.
So if you lack the skills necessary to gain readership make up for by getting as many links pointing to your site as possible.
Writing takes practice. Especially when you are trying to capture a readers attention in just a few seconds. Many hits to your blogs means that there will be more of a chance for people to bookmark it.
The people at Writing Up claim "you just write we do the rest" which is great if your blog posts stayed on the home page all day instead of being pushed down. Real traffic is generated with a good linking strategy.

This Site Has A Lot of Potential
This looks like a good blog-feed site. One piece of advice I would have is that I think you should have a 'write blog' link right under your 'read blog' link. This definitely would make it more user-friendly. It would catch new users' eyes more quickly than 'create content.'
Good Idea
I will consider that. Thanks for the input.
