Oil hit $100 dollars a barrel for the first time

Oil hit $100 dollars a barrel for the first time January 2 2008 then backed off slightly to end the trading day at $99.62 dollars. Prices at the gas pump and home heating oil prices are both expected to increase.

We don’t have a national energy policy in the United States and with a oil man for president I don’t expect that too change soon.

How does the saying go, “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer”

Anyway thanks for reading

Gasoline was

93 cents a gallon when Clinton was president. SHortly after Bush was sworn in, th eprice jumped to over $2.00 a gallon....now look at it...I guess they want to make all of the profit off of us while they still have time.

Yea I remmember the days

Yea I remmember the days when gas was under a dollar...Clinton really was a great president...the Country was so much better off under his leadership

The price of petrol

is a big issue in Australia. We have long distances to drive too, and the cost is a big expense that many families can't manage.
