In his book Mr. Engel discusses the emergence of Aids during the early 1980’s and how the Aids virus has spread around the world. There is a brain-eating amoeba that has killed 6 people this year in the United States. The amoeba is called Naegleria fowleri and is found around the world. It lives in lake water and soil.
