It is always a worthy cause to help those who are going through a difficult time. For any number of reasons people can find themselves in circumstances where they can barely survive. It is right and good for us to share what we have with those in need. On the other hand, it is not right and good for me to steal from your pocket to give to the poor.

Obama is losing ground fast!
Americans are celebrating the latest Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday. McCain now has a nine point lead over Obama (49 percent to 40 percent). What a change from Obama's earlier lead of 7 percentage points!
Finally, A Third Candidate
Maybe you have been content with the political race between Obama Hussein and McCain. Or, maybe you thought it was starting to get a little boring. Things might just be improving.
Paris Hilton has declared that she is now a candidate. Her inclusion in the McCain campaign ad was apparently perceived as an invitation. Paris immediately clarified she is not like the other two candidates, but raher stated that she is 'hot'. Her words, not mine. Then she proceeded to lay out a balanced energy plan which has some merit.
Obama - The Fake One
Andrea Mitchell is the Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent for NBC News and she is along on the Obama Publicity Tour to Europe. She is a liberal as you would expect, but apparently it is possible for a 'reporter's pride and principles' to break out of that mold.
Batman Meets His Match!
They just don't make super heroes like they used to. It seems that Batman's powers must weaken when he leaves Gotham city. He has been subdued by the London Metropolitan Police. These certainly must be brave and courageous officers!
Cell Phone Addiction
Elly posted about the intensity with which her Chinese students live for their cell phones. Not more than an hour after I read the post, I came across this article from England. It talks of some young people who became addicted to their phones - even to the extent normal life situations were difficult to handle. Others have seen that the same phenomena happen with video games and computers (surfing the net).
New Zealand iPhone
Recent posts have opened my mind to the vast array of uses for the Apple iPhone. In addition, the global enthusiasm for my post shocked me. At first taken aback, I have now gathered my wits and know what I must do. I will celebrate the global significance of my post by providing three links on the topic of IPhones in New Zealand.
Happy or Sad About iPhone 2
Steve Jobs (Apple) recently announced that a new and improved version of the popular iPhone is ready for the market. That's good news and most people expect 'new and improved' to show up. Now, you may not agree with the next statement. The really good news is that the new model is going to be about $200 compared to the $600 that people have been paying for the first model.
Fight the Smears
Obama, the candidate of change for President of the United States, has come up with a new idea. He seems quite concerned about what folks on the internet are saying about him. Being a liberal, his response to that is naturally to squelch those comments. Freedom of speach is only allowed when it favors him.
