An interesting and profitable thing happened to me a couple of years ago.

A friend of a friend told me that he knew a guy who was looking for help getting going with eBay. I called the guy up and said I could help him set up his first eBay auction. I went to his home, and spent about three hours getting his auction going, and then teaching him about all the ins and outs of eBay. I even set up an eBay store for him.
