Gauri - The Unborn (2007) - Movie Review

The two aspects you look forward to in a horror film are [i] The thrills-n-chills should scare the living daylights out of you and [ii] The story should’ve something new to offer. Sure, GAURI – THE UNBORN has a new story to tell, but the chills-n-thrills don’t give you the jitters and jhatkas, barring a scene or two.

Sometimes it DOESN'T pay to be an extra...

Right now they're currently filming a Lionsgate feature film in New Orleans. It's good for the city seeing as we need all the revenue we can get since things still aren't back to "normal" since Katrina. This past Friday I was booked as an extra for the film. I've been doing extra's work off and on for the past 3 yrs.

Me...the Model

Life comes in "3's" for me. It always takes 3 BAD THINGS to equal 1 GOOD THING! These past 2 weeks have been no exception. My family has had the splendiferious (word?) joy of losing my Dad's car to a blown head gasket, which consequentially resulted in us not being able to go to an out-of-state convention, and during all of this 2 different paychecks of amounts over $100 failed to show for 2 different reasons.

More on travelling with Cameras

Technology is changing so much in the camera industry, that it would be wise to do some research BEFORE setting out on your travel with the intent of taking lots of photos andbringing them back safely to share them with your friends.

AMC's Monsterfest

I love the week leading up to Halloween. I like all the scary movies and "haunted" specials on every channel. The Travel Channel has haunted houses, both real and fake. A&E has ghost stories. The History Channel has historical ghosts. The list goes on and on...and on. But my favorite channel during this time is AMC...at least this year. I'm watching MonsterFest right now. So far, they've shown the classic "The Invisible Man." Right now, "The Wolf Man" is on...and later, "The Creature from the Black Lagoon." I like these movies for many reasons.

Santa's Slay - Movie Review

Ahhh...Halloween time. 'Tis the season for Christmastime slasher flicks. This is about the movie "Santa's Slay," with former wrestling superstar Bill Goldberg playing a real, yet pissed off Santa Claus. Being doomed to 1,000 years of providing joy to children and families because of an improptu curling match gone bad against one of God's angels, the psychotic Santa is freed from his commitment and allowed to inflict horror and "Yuletide fear" among the community that is cheesily titled "Hell Township."
