It happened again. The promotion announced it was looking for freelance writers.
Yo to all my writer and BE friends:
Just got word that an article I submitted to FATE Magazine has been accepted -- I will get paid a whole $200. They pay 10 cents per word -- which is actualy good compared to some markets these days. FATE publishes paranormal type stories, which I like to write.
Hey all:
I just received an e-mail from the folks over at "Soul Shelter" that an essay I submitted to their writing contest was judged as "runner up." My prize -- a gigantic $50!!
Fifty dollars is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, so I am grateful to the kind people at www.soulshelter.com for affording me this wonderful award.

I sold the first article I ever submitted. It was to Astronomy magazine. I sold the second article I ever submitted to Cat Fancy. The third article I submitted was accepted, too, by Reader's Digest.
This opportunity is for just about everybody that includes housewives, retired persons, freelance writers and students.
"If you can write, then we will pay you", says Life Tips.
Once there was a young boy named Aiden who lived in a large city. He liked his city very much, although he wasn't sure why. In the winter, it was very cold and in the summer it was very hot with very little rain, so because of this, the streets in his city were bumpy and cracked, and the grass very dry and was rarely green. It was one of Aiden's chores to water and weed the lawn around his family's house. He didn't enjoy chores very much but he did, for some reason, enjoy taking care of the lawn.
WritingUp has done a Blogfeast on us - a Lazarus of the blogesphere.
I read on Write Niche yesterday that WU was back and running. My first reaction was, yeah right. But nevertheless I decided to visit, and low and behold there was WritingUp as bold as brass - and our archives as well!
My feeling is that Blogging is an excellent way to "test" one's writing. It is a good daily writing exercise - or a chance to practice. It is an opportunity to find people who are interesting in what you write, althuogh I caution that these Blogs are not the places to shre your great creative work. (Plagiarism is rife in the blogosphere.)
I almost fainted when I saw a huge list of paid to write sites posted in another revenue sharing blog. I have been searching for that post for the past two hours, to give proper credit. It just keeps eluding me. When I find it again, I will mention it here.
