Gore Urges Civil Disobedience

Al Gore has moved from Nobel Peace Prize winner to promoter of civil disobedience. According to a Reuters news article, on Wednesday, Gore is urging young people to engage in civil disobedience to stop the construction of coal plants without the ability to store carbon. This was at the Clinton Global Ininitiative gathering in New York.

You Are Invited

Dear Friend,

Global warming is an urgent, but solvable problem. That’s why I’ve joined the We Campaign, a powerful nonpartisan movement of concerned citizens that was founded by Nobel Prize Laureate and former Vice President Al Gore. We're already a million strong -- and growing each day.

Climate Change and Global Warming is Now a Reality

Global warming is certainly inducing sudden changes in weather patterns like the global winds circulations which is resulting in a Climate Change which has severe consequences for water availability, flooding, drought, landslides, food and energy. This Climate Change is threatening the livelihoods of man as he competes for natural resources. The result is endless conflicts over resources which have huge loss of lives.

The Wonderful Minnesota Moose -- Soon to be Gone?

The Vanishing Minnesota Moose -- What is Wiping Them Out?

Thousands of moose have died off in an area that was once prime habitat for these gentle giants. Biologists fear that global warming is responsible for the Minnesota Moose Mystery.

The polar bear has been garnering a lot of attention in recent weeks as wildlife biologists fear the shrinking Arctic ice sheets are endangering the existence of this top predator at the top of the world. But there is another gentle giant that is getting far less attention, and they may be in far worse trouble -- the mighty moose.

The Polar Warming

The near-surface temperature of the earth has increased by 0.6 degree Celsius over the last century. The largest environmental changes have taken place at high latitudes and or Polar Regions. Over the next century, near surface air temperature will rise more in the polar regions than in any other parts of the Earth as a result of the increasing levels of greenhouse gases. This will increase the risk of flooding and low-lying areas and islands will be wiped out.

Global Warming Solution

Once they grasped the imminent danger facing the global community, U.S. decision-makers had no choice but to act quickly, and so they did. Petroleum-based fuels are possibly the largest source of man-made carbon so it was only logical to reduce gasoline consumption. The solution proposed was to start blending ethanol (produced from corn) with gasoline. This has been going on long enough now that we can access the impact of this program.

More Than Dog doo-doo!

Al Gore, superstar of the "save the planet" movement had this to say in an interview with The Sun.

"When politicains walk down the pavement, four or five of every ten people they meet ask, 'What are you doing to solve the climate crisis?' If you ask people their opinion, more than two thirds will say, 'It's a very serious issue, we're responsible for it. We need to take action'. But then if you give them a list of 25 or 30 issues and ask them to rank them in order of seriousenss, climate change comes at the bottom or near the bottom. I remember one poll where it came under dog litter. People are more likely to respond to problems that can be felt - terrorism, traffic jams, anything that activates the responses in an immediate way."

A Silent Gathering of 500?

Talk radio host Glenn Beck recently interviewed John Coleman, the man who started the Weather Channel. John Coleman is one of many scientists who say it is high time to speak out against Al Gore's global warming alarmism.

The Fraud of Global Warming

Those are strong words! John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel (1982) shared that concept at the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change on March 3 in New York. John Coleman is highly critical of global warming alarmism and says that the Weather Channel has become an outlet for it. One example is from December 2006 when Heidi Cullen (an employee) argued on her blog that,
