Penny Lane of 9-11

For those who remember me, and have read my blogs know the story of my dog Penny Lane of 9-11. We had her 1st birthday, since she died. It was a hard day, not only is it for all the victims and families of that horrible day, but hard that my Penny was born that day. She passed on 12/20/2006, she would have been 6yrs old, on 9/11/2007. I really didnt do much for her birthday, other then think of us playing ball, and this time I didnt cry. I have a shrine for Penny and she is always with me. I do have Prissi who was born the day Penny died, and she is now 8 months on the 20th of September. She is my little lifesaver, and although we are very close and I love her with all my heart...... I will always love my Penny the most. This is not to say that over time I will love Prissi more, and yes I will. It will always be a different love. Just to have Prissi is a blessing. And by the way, if you havent read any of my blogs, my dogs are daschounds. The breeder I got my Prissi from actually sold me my baby for 1/2 price. Had she not done that, I would probably not be here writing this right now. She blessed me, and in turn she was also very blessed. I just can't beleive another year as gone by, and still we are fighting. I miss the times before that horrible day, and just to be sitting here while lifes are lost as I type. What will become of us? What are we doing right now at this very moment in our lives? How can America's people ever truly feel safe again?
