The Blogger's Code of Ethics

At great deal has been said about censoring blogs and objectionable content.

Filters are used to screen out keywords and admin is deleting blogs and modifying them at will.

So it occurred to me that a Code of ethics should be agreed upon but I am not capable of solely identifying these ethics.

I have some basic ethics I think might work but your input is needed:

A Blogger must blog.

Those blogs should be of the writer's creation and original.

A commenter on blogs should also be providing content.

Comments on blogs should be of substantial input.

Bloggers are not required to comment on every blog or on any comment made on those comments.

No blogger is required to read another blogger's post.

Each blogger should respect the efforts put forth by fellow blogger to create content.

Blogs should not be censored or edited by others. Freedom of speech.

Treat each blogger and their works with the same respect you desire for yourself and your works.

Review other blogs with an open mind, giving the writer the chance to convey their idea as you would desire the same thing.

No blogger is any better a blogger than another, positions of contempt suppress ideas and creativity.

Feel free to add or dispute any of the codes, so we may arrive at an agreeable understanding of the Blogger's Code of Ethics.

Actually and seriously...

all posts should be constructive and positive, if critical. You are right." Bush is a wanker" is a negative throw away line!

That's okay Hutt, every once in a while

I have the overwhelming urge to blurt out, "I am the Decider!" or "I'll Decide!" especially on all the "Internets."
I also have a Turret's style quirk where I say, "Fool me once, fool me twice or Fool me once wont fool me again.

Are We Still the "Home Of The Brave?"

Are We Still the "Home Of The Brave?"

I'm still looking for suggestions.

sounds good Geminian

Part of free speech is the right to say stupid and vulgar things...I don’t like vulgar either but I hate attempts to suppress it….Even though I can’t see why anyone would won’t to write such things, that right must be protected.

They say America is the land of the free...Then why does it cost so much to live?
