The Cyclone disaster

The Cyclone disaster in Myanmar is horrifying. No one knows what the full effect of this cyclone will be. However over 100,000 people are believed dead. The Myanmar military government is reluctant to let foreign aid into the country. The longer the government waits too let foreign aid into the country the more people will die from disease. By denying their people help the military government in Myanmar is making the situation harder on the people.

That they are what we thought...

they were - uneducated despots seeking personal gain and wealth - they have economically raped their country. A few thousand special forces troops should be sent into that country to create havoc for the regime and organise underground opposition to the regime. My Qassia Link

Certainly the government

there should make it easier for aid to go to their own people. What does it say about them as leaders if they are prepared to let their people starve from lack of food and water, or die from lack of medical aid. It is horrific - and so sad to think that help is so near, and yet so far!
