The International Olympic Committee will be using a new weapon against athletes who dope

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has developed a new test for human growth hormone (HGH). Apparently this new test can detect use weeks after stopping. The old test could only detect human growth hormone if it was used in the last 48-72 hours. Which made it easy for athletes to avoid detection.

The IOC will be randomly testing athletes around the world during the lead up to the Beijing 08 summer games.

This is wonderful news for anyone who believe like myself that sports need to remain drug free.

Anyway thanks for reading

If these drugs

are as effective as the athletes seem to believe, then I guess the only level playing field will be when no one can get away with cheating. The improving technology is good, but they may have to test every athlete. Otherwise there is still a chance someone may not be caught.

Cheats

will try to find another way to beat the system but it is becoming more and more difficult for them to continue their cheating ways.
