The real ID Act and how to take action against it, American democracy endangered...

I really know nothing about this impending policy. I throw it open for your discussion:

"The Real ID Act and How to Take Action Against It & Say No!"

This video ( link below)discusses the The Real ID and what it will mean for every American Citizen in our nation. Most Americans have always wondered why nazi germany was so tyrannical during World War II. Well there's no need to wait. Because effective MAY 11TH 2008 all states must adopt the Real ID program that will force citizens with drivers licenses to be put into national databases with all of their information. This step is closer to the World ID Card program for One World Government in the New World Order globalization plan to track & trace it's population. Without your National ID card you will not be able to travel. Get on transportation services and more restrictions. ... SAY NO TO THE REAL ID & NATIONAL ID CARD! ... It's your responsibility as citizens.

Saying "no" doesn't always do any good, Hutt.

So far, there has been very little said in our area about the need for a Real ID Card. It is not considered a National ID Card, but I'm sure it could eventually lead to one. Here is a link to a Snopes.com reply to the question.

REAL ID CARD

Apparently, a lot of people are thinking and saying that we will be required to have a chip implanted with info, or put thumbprints on driver's licenses, etc. I haven't been contacted in any way by our local licensing bureau about changing anything, although when I get around to renewing my driver's license in 2012, I may have to show a birth certificate. I can't see that doing that would put me in any danger.

The federal government already has the social security number of everyone who is legally employed in this country, so they could track us down anytime they want to. Hope we never come to that.
