TorrentSpy=Owned By Feds

Today TorrentSpy was ordered to pay almost $111 million to movie studios and television networks by a federal judge in CA. They were caught with 3,699 pirated items and were ordered to pay $30,000 for each copyright claim. Just stick to the legal stuff guys (psh, yeah right ;) ) No seriously, pirated content is becoming more and more damaging for all the major movie studios. If you want more movies made, just give a little.

movies and music is like a high-tech civil war in our country. Too bad there is not some kind of compromise that could be reached. Then everyone could benefit from a growing business.
