Where Did All These Keys Come From?

Do you all have this problem? Too many orphaned keys? My mother got me a decorative key box for Christmas--one of those that looks like a little mini cupboard--and since I hung the stupid thing in January it's been the official dumping ground for found keys.

Half the keys I don't even recognize and half are to things I don't even own any more. (I actually found a front-door key that went to a house I sold 9 years ago.)

Do you all find stuff like this?

It's OK--laugh at will. I can take it.

Orphan Keys--A Modern Day Tragedy...

Imagine if you grew up to be a key, and all of the sudden, you are never used anymore. Nary a door to open. Why? Because the owner forgot what you are for.

I'm sure that many others have the same problem. Not me, though, as I carry all my keys on one key ring, so discard any useless ones. Though I have this little plastic bag...................
