I've had a challenge with high blood pressure for years. No explanation, just take these pills. I'm aware of the health issues with hypertension (high blood pressure) so I take my pills but it has always bothered me that no one (read "no doctor") has been concerned about the cause.

So recently after some other health issues (nothing dramatic - just minor) I asked to be examined further.

Today I am wearing a 24 hour monitor - which checks my blood pressure every 30 minutes. It's quite weird, but I can do almost anything I want, and every 30 minutes I feel the squeeze on my arm as it does its thing.

Amazing what science and technology have come up with - in another era I would have to be in hospital and someone would have had to physically use the B/P machine and write the recordings. It is all done automatically by something that looks like I'm packing a pistol.
